Cherry Tree Kitchen is a gourmet food manufacturer (their family farm is featured below), headed by two chefs from the Byron Bay Hinterland who have stepped out of the restaurant scene, to bring their gourmet food range into the homes of Australians.
Chefs Andy pierce and Peter Fleming spent significant parts of their careers working amongst the Melbourne food scene before moving back to the Northern Rivers where Peter opened the reputable hatted restaurant 561 Alfadale with Andy working alongside. Andy has also spent time working in other restaurants in the Byron Bay hinterland including the reputable Harvest as well as Three Blue Ducks. Both of these chefs pride themselves on sourcing the highest quality produce from the Byron region, and in the process supporting local growers and suppliers.
As well as creating a perfectly balanced Smoked Chilli Ketchup and Pear Pate, what the chefs are really known for is their impressive Organic Beef Tallow and their Organic Beef Bone Broth and Free Range Chicken Bone Broth - which are produced over a 24 hour period. Although these refrigerated products aren't available online, they can be found in selected retailers in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
